2              INFORMATION ABOUT OUR USE OF COOKIES

2.1          Cookies are text files containing small amounts of information which are downloaded to your device when you visit a website. Cookies are then sent back to the originating website on each subsequent visit, or to another website that recognises that cookie. 2.2          The cookies that we use on our mailinx site are used to identify the user through a token, more specifically they store a token which is used to re-authenticate the user when they come back onto the site. There is no personal information held, it's a token for auto-log-on which is encrypted. The cookie last 20 days.

2.2.1       Strictly necessary cookies. These are cookies that are required for the operation of the Site. They include, for example, cookies that enable you to log into secure areas of the Site.

2.2.2       Analytical/performance cookies. These allow us to recognise and count the number of visitors and to see how visitors move around the Site when they are using it. This helps us to improve the way the Site works, for example, by ensuring that users are finding what they are looking for easily.
